Hannah has always been drawn to humour in art, and when she discovered clay there was no stopping her. Even now, she gets really excited about creating a new creature, it’s stance, wit, the use of colour and line to enhance the form. The humour is important, but not at the expense of the design of the form.

She is drawn to strong graphic shapes, the appeal of 50s cartoons is evident in the designs, She loves their vintage illustrative style, playful, yet drawing reference from a very modern cultural aesthetic.
