Teresinha hand carves a range of birds in lime following a period of extensive and careful study of the birds in the wild. Each piece is carved using only natural materials and  is finished with traditional pigments such as Chinese int stick, followed by several coats of beeswax. Each unique sculpture captures the natural movement  and rhythm of the bird.
