Rob Whelpton

 

Rob Whelpton completed a Dip.AD in ceramics at North Staffordshire Polytechnic before working for a time at the National Museum and Art Gallery in Gaborone, Botswana.

After a period in Denmark he moved back to the UK to work at the Dartington Pottery in Devon.

In 1989 he set up a studio in Wiltshire with his wife Vicky. His range of raku pots are decorated with geese, chickens, farmyard and fish motives and are sold alongside his wife’s tableware under the name of Krukker
