Peter produces fine  functional furniture, well made comfortable in use and beautiful to look at. Working with locally grown woods He selects for colour and texture which influences both the function and form. He looks for delicacy, hidden strength, working with the wood rather than taming it, the makers marks telling how a piece was made. His willow work is more freeform, flowing lines, sweeping gestures, natural structures, engaging both children and adults.
